Yard waste can be brought to the Compost Center on West Park Street at no cost. Previously known as the Recycling Center.

Brush Chipping

The City of Gillett offers wood chipping services during the months of April through September. Residents may place branches out at the curb and the city crew will come around and chip the branches and dispose of the chips.

The brush must be piled butt first towards the curb. Please review the Brush Chipping Policy for more information.

The first fifteen minutes of chipping per month per stop is free of charge. Thereafter, the cost is $5.00 per minute.

A schedule of chipping dates is available at City Hall or under the Services Tab- Garbage Recycling Chipping and Leaf Pick up Schedule.

Anyone wishing to receive chips for landscaping etc, can contact City Hall at (920) 855-2255. The Chipping Release Form must be on file with the City Clerk before chips are delivered to you any residence.

Leaf Pickup

The City of Gillett offers leaf pickup services during the months of September through November. Residents may place leaves out at the curb and the city crew will come around to pick up the leaves and dispose of them. Please review the Leaf Pickup Policy for more information.
