We are seeking your generous support for an exciting new initiative that aims to enhance our community’s recreational facilities and promote inclusivity.
We are embarking on a transformative Park Project in Zippel Park that will significantly upgrade our local park to better serve all members of our community and townships. This project includes the addition of a new inclusive playground, lighted walking paths and trails, a park kiosk, reconditioned sports courts, multiple picnic stations, ample seating, and an ADA-compliant restroom. These enhancements are designed to provide accessible park amenities and create a fully inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone.
The inclusive playground will be a cornerstone of this project, offering children of all abilities the opportunity to play together in a safe and engaging space. The lighted walking paths and trails will encourage healthy lifestyles and provide a secure environment for evening strolls. The reconditioned pickleball and basketball courts will provide an improved painted surface, new netting, and area fencing, while the picnic stations and seating will create inviting spaces for families and friends to gather. The ADA-compliant restroom will ensure that all visitors, regardless of their physical abilities, can comfortably enjoy the park.
We believe that this project will not only enhance the quality of life for our residents but also foster a sense of community and belonging. The City is also hard at work, searching and applying for grants to make the project a reality. We have a 501(c)(3) for this project so that donations will be tax deductible.
